Full Moon Anniversary

Last night Jane & I had our two year anniversary. This is huge for anyone that really knows me. I have never had a relationship last longer than three months before. Its different with Jane, we belong together. Like pieces of a puzzle, or your obvious peas in a pod.

We went to dinner at 160blue, down the street from our house, on the corner of Randolph and Ogden. This place is exquisite. Michael Jordan is co-owner. On any given night of the week he shows up, sometimes a few times a week! Unfortunately not last night. Anyway that didn’t matter, I brought a bottle of vinetage 1979 Diebolt-Vallieu, which is as old as I am, and we feasted on a five course dinner unlike any other.

Its great to have friends in high places, this is not a BYOB restaurant. However, my boss made arrangements for me to bring this champagne, and then we enjoyed not one but two complementary desserts! (chocolate suffle & the apricot bomb w/ glasses of moscato dessert wine!) Jane and I had one of the best dinners of all time. The chef came around and spoke to us for awhile. Turns out, some of his friends just opened a restaurant in London, so we’ll look that up next month.

The full moon is technically August 9, but as we walked to and from our dinner, the moon was absolutely spectacular. I could not have asked God herself for a more perfect evening
