I want to thank all my family and friends who came out to this big event, that really means a lot to me. Despite being both nervous and excited before the show, I was able to calm the butterflies and have a great time. I was upset initially because my School decided to put tables of food directly in front of my painting, cutting off solid vantage points to view the artwork. At times, the traffic around the painting was so great that accidental touches occured which pushed me over the edge. I spoke to the gallery’s manager and he quickly solved the problem. Unfortunately, they both lost and never made it to the big game. Dreams live on, and sometimes dreams take a while to come to fruition.

For those of you missing my blogs these last few weeks, I apologize; Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I have been extremely busy getting my life organized again in the United States. Fortunately, Jane and I found a great apartment in Wicker Park and we are just about settled now. All our stuff is moved out of storage, and I found a part-time job (Thank God because London broke me). School begins next week, but my schedule may change because I am applying for an internship.
